We are going on a field trip
Characters: Utena, Jade
Day and Time: Day 2, Shift 2 - 4:15 PM
Location: South-east Hall, near Utena's room
Content: Utena gets the bright idea to go item hunting (for what kind of items, she doesn't know). Runs into Jade and ends up taking him along.
Warnings: None so far.
Utena felt a return of a certain amount of her confidence, holding the knife in her hand as she traversed the hallways leading back to her bedroom. Though she still wasn't entirely keen on the idea of having to actually stab something or someone with it, she did feel better having more to defend herself now than just a cleaning instrument. Now if only she could find a sword or something similar, then she would really be in her element. Swords she knew she could handle well without having to seriously harm anyone unless it was necessary.
Now for the next thing on her mental agenda: finding useful items. Though she didn't know exactly what she was aiming to find, Utena figured that it was probably better to start getting some kind of stockpile together as a "just in case" sort of thing. As Chase had said, maybe if she happened to find just the right combination of stuff, something unexpectedly cool and useful might come of it.
Utena could now find the south-east hall with relative ease, and quickly found herself back in her bedroom. With an anticipatory grin on her face, she took the case off of her pillow, stowed her broomstick by the nightstand for the time being, and pulled out the flashlight, throwing it into the bottom of the pillowcase. With that in hand, she swung the pillowcase over her shoulder and headed back for the hallway. "Now, where to start looking?" Utena mused aloud as she closed the door behind her.
