i have not updated in far too long

i am writing this from my new imac. it is most shiny.

since my last update, a bunch of stuff has happened. an impartial list:

- i graduated from the commonwealth school. i miss it already. the school has some problems, but it was most definitely perfect for me. 
- i participated in another SCA crew, this time in isle royale (pronounced as one syllable

i had a huge fight with one of my posters...it was a four foot by three foot heavy paper rendition of starry night. needless to say, it was heavy. however, after having it fall on me at the most inopportune times (aka while sleeping as it was over my bed) and after using sticky tack, double sided tape, *and* scotch tape... all at the same time....all around the entire poster....i found the solution: there are these hooks that you put on the wall that you can remove because you "stretch" out the tape/foam holding them to the wall...supposed to leave no mark...fascinating stuff...but anyhoo, i bought some hooks for my wall (extremely cheap and good solution for the hanging problem) and used the extra tape strips for my poster. it stayed up for the rest of my six months there...
second suggestion, as you will be moving in and out of rooms for at least four more years: make a collage of your favorite photos, post cards, ect, and then laminate it (ghetto style with packing tape, or professionally if you have patience) and use it as your own personal poster, rather than sticking them all up individually and taking them down individually...make sense?
