After 4 weeks of getting poked with needles, I finally got the good word... mono is gone! Hooray! So after a brief stay in the hospital and 4 weeks of bed rest, I can finally start to live my life again. I think most of you know how I am, I can not sit still long enough at times to finish a conversation, so trying to stay in bed or on the couch all day, was a challange in itself. I read two books. The Da Vinci Code and Angels & Demons, both of which I highly recommend, and watched soo many movies, I lost count. I did enjoy watching movies by myself though, I find it more enjoyable to watch them on my own, because there is no one around to be making unnecessary comments. Granted, I would have liked someone here to snuggle with, as long as they could keep quiet =) Is that so much to ask?
I'm going to start going back to work next week, part time though. I really dont want to wear myself out too quick, because I dont want to have to be back on the couch again.
October 21st, my 21st bday, is probably going to be celebrated at home. I really dont need to go out and get piss ass drunk. I think ive had enough to drink in the past. As long as I am not home, my birthday will be a success in my eyes.
My cousin is getting married Oct 2nd in fla. I get to be a bridesmaid. whoo wa. but i get to be in Florida sept 28 - oct 5, so you wont here any complaints here, of course, unless another hurrican decides to hit.
I'm going to see Garden State with Dan V tonight. I'm very excited. This technically is my first time out of the house, minus doctors visits and bloodwork, which was twice a week.
If anything is going on in Rochester in Oct, let me know, I'd love to get out and visit.
