Overwheming boredom

Do you ever feel like there is something you want to do, really want to do, but you don't know what it is? And while the world blurs past you, you are left sitting still with an overwhelming sense of boredom?

Maybe it's just me. However, I am finding that other people sometimes feel the same way about things that I do. Today, for instance, I spoke with a fellow Vermonter who was now living in Texas. I described the bizarre feeling I get when looking at road maps there and feeling as though I am looking at Texas upside down with East and West being backwards. He agreed and said that happens to him all the time. I felt the warm glow of camaraderie surround me briefly until he also admitted that in Vermont, he always viewed any mountain as "north". What a nut job.

Anyway, this past weekend, I road my snowmobile around the 50 mile loop from my house, up to Eden, over to Wolcott and back. I had my wife with me, so it was a little uncomfortable. I really need a bigger sled with a double seat. It was still fun and about half the trails were well groomed with spectacular scenery.

I have a hard date to start my welding class!! Mar 24. Woot. I can't wait.
