Phew! Playing in the dirt! Go FREUD!!!
I got a couple of half yards of compost, peat moss and vermiculite and mixed up the raised bed soil recommended by Mel Bartholomew for his Square Foot Gardening mix. It cost a total of $100 total for eight 2x4 foot beds, eight inches deep. I think that must be a deal.
Anyway, I have been working long hours the last three days filling in my ditch, planting my blueberry bushes and planting my garden. If they survive tonight's final season frost, then I'll share some photos later this week.
