having thoughts
I've been toying with the idea of changing my lj name thingy. I like the sound of pointlessenthusiasm (so many ssssss) and also balatronic. I wanted psilosopher but apparently that's already taken by some guy who hasn't posted since 2004 :( But maybe not.
I've been reading a book of short stories by Simon Ortiz, Men on the Moon, and it's fucking fantastic. Really beautiful writing and very socially poignant which makes me swoon a little. Favorite part:
I don't think anybody noticed the forests in me, the quiet footsteps I have taken in the Rockies and the Smokies. I don't think anybody knew the memory of touch in my hands of the trunks of great firs and pines and spruces.
ALSO SPRING BREAK STARTS TOMORROW! I need sleep so bad.
