First night at my job, well its not 'offically' my job yet because I'm on trial but nevermind.
So I'm working at this bar and bistro place called 'Robbies' now.
Hah...
And omg I think I sent out a stake with a butter knife...Bwahahahaha *cries with laughter* The damn cutlery trays are right next to each other and they are already wrapped in serviettes, I only noticed AFTER I had walked out the plate.
The shame...
Appart from that I dont think I...Oh cancel that, I took out some puddings without spoons...I felt so bad, haha.
I tried working on the 'EVIL TILL OF DOOM', That thing is mean...meaner than Arkrights till only in new and painfull ways...It has technology! But seriously, I knew working the till would take time to master, but this thing has a bazillion buttons and then it comes up with option menues which are all number coded, its a bitch.
The two girls I worked with were really nice and everyone else in the kitchen and on the bar seemed nice too although I havent had time to really talk to them yet. At the start of the shift it was really quiet and I felt kinda lost and was standing around, then one of the girls came over and pritty much told me that you have to fake it and look like you are working hard so the kitchen staff (who are working flat out cooking) won't get angry seeing you stand around. Hah. I love this job already...the evil till of doom exempted.
The Majority of the work I'm doing now is bringing in the finished plates, walking stuff out (I already hate it when people have the number in a hard to see place), cleaning glasses (damn its fun) and working the till.
I could get used to this.
