Life is pretty great lately.
I'm going to New York from December 14-19 with Kara! :D
I've also begun my Christmas shopping, even though it makes me sad and annoyed that people can't enjoy one holiday at at time. Thanksgiving hasn't passed and there's already Christmas candy in the aisles and lights dangling from the rooftops.
Friday: my mom came out of the hospital, then Kara and I went boot-shopping for New York. Jason made dinner, and we saw "Mallrats" and "Inside Man." Saturday: The Killing Machine exhibit in the Miami Art Museum is a must! Sunday: didn't turn out as expected, but it was lovely nonetheless. Bought some shiza at Old Navy, and Carolina showed Rag*Trade and the Gourmet Carrot to Janell and me.
Aesop was amazing, as were Tegan & Sara last Tuesday.
Movies I've seen lately: Days of Night, Lars & the Real Girl, Saw IV, Bella, Dan in Real Life
I had a huge gap at work today so I went to see Alex and Rodney [down from Maryland], which was weird but great. I think we're hanging out tomorrow. Good laughs with them boys.
Martin comes down tomorrow from his marine-ness again! He's coming over for Thanksgiving dinner, which will be held at the beach, and I am cooking for my family!
My mom's polyp turned out to be cancerous, but luckily they caught it on time.
She's recovering and doing much better. Thanks to everyone for your concern :]
I have some pumpkin cheesecake baking in the oven!
