Other than being perhaps the funnest anime title to say EVER, this series is amazing. And I've been so happily watching it from the comfort of my room thanks to my darling PS3~<3<3<3 I'm just here to tell you all... you should totally watch it. Izaya Orihara is perhaps the most amazing thing to happen since sliced bread. And if you know of my insane love for peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and buttered toast, you know thats a pretty big claim. I'd been vaguely keeping an eye on the LJ comm [namely icons], and mostly was obsessed with him, and for clearly good reason. I'm watching the released episodes again for a second time while waiting for episode 11, and... guh, its just a whole hell of a lot of fun.
From the most recent episode:

...God I want his evil, beautiful children. <3<3<3
Plus its hilarious and awesome to see other anime plainly shown. In the first episode as the main characters are passing a big t.v.-thinger Baccano is playing on it, and then these one characters are carrying around a cardboard cutout of Horo [Spice and Wolf], and they even reference Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan. In the manga they even have these characters have their torturee pick a manga from which they will base their torture... He ends up choosing Kuroshitsuji of all things, and... well, for those who are also familiar with Kuroshitsuji, the result is absolutely hilarious, I was <3'ing all over it.
