I need to hear its voices in my ears

Finally, the summer is here.
Everyone is home, which is cool. It's kinda nice to see everyone again. It's weird, you go to the same school with everyone from high school, but until summer you don't really see any of them. Maybe it's best that way. Part of that whole "growth" thing, a necessary change and transition into the real world. Which is actually kind of scary. Only 2 1/2 more years and I should be graduating. Maybe I can pull it off in 2.

Speaking of change, I'm visiting Geneseo next week. I'm really excited. I'm meeting with the transfer admissions dean to do my scheduling, since I'm going to miss orientation. I'll find out if they'll let me get all 3 of the degrees. I'm not sure. But if they do, it'd be really sweeet; graduate in 3, maybe 3 1/2 years with 3 degrees. I could pretty much go to any law school.

Norway is just over a month away. I'm really excited. We're going to Denmark and Sweden as well. All countries that I haven't been to yet so that's pretty cool. Taylor and I are going to see what it would cost to get to Amsterdam. I would love to see their headshops.

Steff comes home soon. We're friends again. I missed the girl. We were pretty good friends when we were.

So, basically, this summer should be amazing.

Summer, after all, is a time when wonderful Things can happen to quiet people. For those few months you're not required To be who everyone thinks you are,And that cut-grass smell in the air and The chance to dive into the deep end of a poolGive you a courage you don't have the rest of the year. You can be graceful and easy,With no eyes on you, and no past. Summer just opens the door and lets you out
