In the modern world, most of our lives, especially financial and social, reside online. We can do everything Now. Often, we lose track of what we should be doing Now, so it gets done by Then. Hence, we need to start looking at optimal ways of designating Our Now. In a way, we have replicated on the finest level what we Are, and must Now begin adapting to it on a different level of consciousness.
Computers have set in place a pattern recognition that forever formed our approach. They transformed the ways we process information and the way we learn. However, our day-to-day patterns of living in the real world have remained reasonably unchanged: we still wake up to an alarm, drive to work, sit at our desks for at least 4 hours a day, eat lunch, dinner, exercize, walk the dog, shop, shower. However, most, if not all of these activities have been infiltrated by technology. Technology is here to stay, and grow up and into the most intimate areas of our being. Our daily tasks and activities are not going anywhere. We still have to do laundry, walk the dog, complete the work assignment, ect... Yet, we are often distracted and only partly engaged into our activity at hand. While we struggle to juggle our daily lives, computers appear to be fairing very well. Perhaps, the best place to learnt optimal levels of performance, is the computer design. When you consider the amount of tasks a machine must perform, amount of resources to allocate, prioritize, and manage, you begin to understand that its functions are about as intricate, as a human body and mind. Intelligent design at its finest, and is rapidly evolving. It takes a great amount of mind apower to create what is before your eyes. Mind power that draws ideas from its capacity and contributes to the collective effort of technological development. Computers appear to be the most voluptios measure of intelligence to date. Learning from them is inevitable, indeed. But have we really created something, that we now need to recreate ourselves to its image in order to fit in?
