In my birth country, at this time women start baking a buch of bakhlava and mootakih. Both contain high volumes of nuts and honey, for the new year to be sweet. Yes, the country is evil, but the food is sooooo goooood!!!! lol :D
The irony of it is that bakinskie Jewish women make the best mootakih in the whole world and Armenian women make the best bakhlava lol :D
