Uh. Problem is that I already know how they have my info. I gave it to them four years ago.
I did plenty of research on them the first time I went through this, and I did it again when they started calling again. They've never been listed as a scam or rip-off. They're actually a legit company, though their parent is CitiGroup, who has been hitting the news lately for being in trouble (just like every other company that handles finances... which is why I'm so confused as to why they're trying to come after me again right now). They didn't sell my phone number to someone else claiming to be them because the number is still saved in my phone. O_o
Last time I checked them out, they actually do the training and licensing required, which is paid the the whole way through. They wanted people with "good customer service skills," blah-de-blah. They didn't come to my house - I went to their office.
I decided I didn't want to do it because there's lots of one-on-one interaction with customers, which I don't really enjoy doing. Plus I suck at math, and would probably embarrass myself.
Primerica? Don't do it. Colleges warn students away from them for unsavory treatment of new employees. They are selling themselves to you more than offering you a job. This is why they are targeting you so much right now, state of the economy. If you decide to join for the entry level wages or use their services, they win. They have your info and you didn't check "not interested" on the card.
