Figures that it happens the year that The Stooges are on the nominee list for the 2009 Rock Hall inductees.
If The Stooges aren't inducted this year, my mourning will turn into rage. They're up against some crap nominees. Metallica is a given for getting in this year, but if Chic gets pick over the Stooges, heads are gonna fucking roll. But then, I lost all confidence in the hall a long time ago. I still don't get why pop artists are in the hall. They may as well just call it the 'Modern Music Hall of Fame.' And no, Nirvana or Kurt Cobain still have not gotten in.
