I've never had a Christmas icon before. I don't think I've ever had ANY holiday-themed icon before. I'm really getting in the spirit of things this year. I might even get Christmas lights for my apartment that don't stay up all year. It's quite bizarre ( Read more... )

I actually watched Karla a few weeks ago. It definitely squicked me, but I didn't get nightmares from it. I have this... obsession? with serial killers. Sort of. They fascinate me. I won't get into why; it's really not as sick as it sounds. Anyway... I sort of knew Paul Bernardo's story before I saw the movie, so it didn't get to me TOO bad.

Ohh, I see. Psh, don't worry, I'm fascinated by serial killers too - the psychology behind it all, what leads to it, what goes on in their heads.... That movie made me think about how we might know a potential serial killer and never even know it. The guy had friends, you know? They charm people.

Hmm. Well I hope they stop, that's never fun. :/ I used to be super dorky and write down my dreams in a dream diary to figure out what they meant, but if you don't actually want to know the cause, then that's probably not the thing to do.

Moar cookies, perhaps.

That is EXACTLY my thing about serial killers. And I also wonder if they're starting to ramp up (the population is getting bigger, so we're getting more chances for someone to be one), or if we're getting copycats, or... and then the fact that there have been serial killers throughout history. Elizabeth Bathory, for example? *shiver* I just wonder how far back this goes. Did we have serial killers back in the stone age?

I do eventually want to find out the cause... but I'm being all avoidy right now. I have something of a dream diary... my problem is that I don't remember a lot of my dreams. It has something to do with my alarm clock. If I wake myself up, I remember them. If something else wakes me up, they're gone. O_O
