I've never even looked at any of these other places -- I'm nice and comfortable here on LJ, and I never thought that comfort would be challenged. I'm not sure it matters, anyway -- one thing that can be learned from history is that if we don't challenge the dictators where they are, they'll just follow us wherever we try to hide.
