today is the day i reveal all... almost.
To all the lovely reader:
I was sitting on the toilet and I realized that you have not seen me for a while. I don't know who you are, but evidently you read this silly little thing, so I will keep writing.
Some updates:
I graduate in May! Holy hell, how did this happen???!!!??? In less than eight months I am going to have to be another cog in society once again. I don't know about you but it is pretty impressive that I have been able to keep an incredibly low tax bracket and myself off of the CIA radar for so long (approx. 28 whole years as an actual undergraduate student, 10 as only a high school graduate)
As I am and have been extremely mentally expanded both by my own influence and to the credit of those around me (professors, other students, stray rodents, chipmunks and of course the always unidentifiable other) I find myself humbled by such events as tonight's poetry slam. I payed my three dolla bill yall and didn't get past the first round. Hell yeah I didn't. The degree of talent there was astounding and I can honestly say that today I am happy to have been in the prescence of those brave souls who toppled and surpassed me. As a published poet, nay as an older poet, nay as a human being who recognizes the talent of wonderful people... (hat tipping)
So I'm off to do more work, I think I'll do work in the rain... cuz today was that damn good. And I want to absorb something else.
