The weekend went pretty good..Friday, I ended up watching "Land of the Dead" which i think is probably the most intense zombie movie that George Romero has made. I've watched "Night", "Dawn" and Day of the Dead" several times and the new one is quite possibly the goriest(however, "Day" had some pretty gross, long shots of gore towards the end). "Land" had a really strong plot, good character development, and a good story. After the movie, I played drums for the Bill Eaker show which pretty much felt unrehearsed. It was fun but did not feel polished. It's tough to find a practice time anyways. Saturday night's show was at J Michael's in Florence with Alter. It was one of the better shows(there's been a good 5 or 6 in a row that have been great). It was extremely polished sounding and tight. So pretty much it's true that practice makes perfect. Well I'm off to go get some dinner.
