The twelve days of Christmas refers to the days from Christmas to Epiphany, in the traditional celebration of Christmas. Or, Christmas, Christmas Eve, Boxing Day, New Year's, New Year's Eve, the associated weekends, and 3 mystery days. The winter holidays are more than just one day or one celebration, it's an special feeling that comes every year and can be used to share love and generosity with all. To celebrate these days, here's a holiday story for one and all. A bit of pop culture knowledge is helpful, but never required.
Let me invite you into my home, for another special Vice Christmas tale.
Yule! Wake up, you're going to miss Christmas!
Grab some treats from the kitchen, there's fun to be had and stories to be told!
Gingerbread seems super popular this year and Yule couldn't resist some either. Not everyone is into sweets, so grab your favorite treat and and gather around for a Christmas time story.
Here's a favorite of mine, where we return to the place not so far away where all of our familiar friends gather in the wonder of Christmas. ^_^
If we're careful, we can have safe get togethers and make sure everyone has a good time. But we need food for a good party...
"Is chocolate the only thing you brought??" Spider-Man asks Venom. Venom grins and licks his mouth excitedly. Good thing Dante has the pizza covered. What about drinks?
"You have to leave some for the other party guests!" Happy scolds Thor who looks like he's going to open another bottle of wine. Maybe we should see what else is going on...
A loud challenge for a snowball fight comes from a different bearded man dressed in red.
Real family understands who you are and loves you, even if you are out of control sometimes. It is weird when someone picks a fight with you and you don't even know them, though. We see a lot of heroes occupied, does Christmas Land have someone watching the presents this year?
Following orders, a Stormtrooper prepares to make a Christmas heist!
"Hey! I don't think those belong to you!" Ryu, a wandering force of good, protects our presents and adds some quiet and reflection to the holiday time of year.
Waving good-bye for this year, Santa makes sure everyone has something to smile about this year. What can we all do to make someone else smile?
And that's the end of my Christmas tale. There's other parts like Ellie's biology excitement, the Great Deliverer arriving and the annual snowman building, but the best part of Christmas stories is passing them along, adding your own details and adventures. Happy holidays to all. ^_^
Thank you for reading my story. =) I felt more on top of things this year, but I'm reminded that even the most amount of preparation isn't enough if you don't have all of your bases covered. Hearing from friends and how much they treasure this time of year with me makes me so happy an makes me wish the holidays could last just a little longer. Merry Christmas, everyone!
