Most of what follows bleeds into 2016, so here's the usual 2015 recap.
Random: An old contact reached out to me in a transitional period and it's easy for me to muddle feelings, but I'm glad she's doing better and it was interesting to think back and dream.
1. What did you do in 2015 that you'd never done before?
Gone to Fells Point in Baltimore.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I can't find specific resolutions, but I'm definitely wanting more out of 2016.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
I don't think so...?
4. Did anyone close to you die?
While she wasn't close to me, Toni passing away left a void. The American Dream will also live forever.
5. What countries did you visit?
None
6. What would you like to have in 2016 that you lacked in 2015?
A more clear path for the next step of my career.
7. What date from 2015 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
I think July 4th. That was an amazing day for the Afriendgers.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Starting on DDP Yoga and starting to heal my knees and lose weight.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Probably reckless purchasing.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Twisted my left knee before A-Kon and thought I might be having a stroke, so those were super convenient.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
DDP Yoga, hands down.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
A lot of my close friends.
13. Whose behavior appalled you and made you depressed?
I think what some of us will do for companionship.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Same as last year, food or vehicles.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
221B Con and trying to put the finishing touches on Atlanta.

I. happier or more sad? I think happier.
II. thinner or fatter? Was fatter, but working on changing that.
III. richer or poorer? I suppose if I'm poorer, I'm doing something wrong.

Written. Jeez.

Spent time doing things that we're worth much in the end.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Sarah came by for a quick, lovely present exchange and then went to Mom's.

I find myself wishing I did.

Agents of SHIELD, hands down.

There's certain subversive people that I could have lived without.

...man, this sucks. I don't know if there was a lot of meaningful reading done in 2015. 1Q84 gassed me out.

Taylor Swift, 1989.

A new car.

Romantic companionship?

Inside Out, I think.
30. What did you do on your birthday?
Worked, ate with my mother, opened up presents from Megan's family, and beat Time Crisis 5.
31. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Probably less wasted time.
32. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2015?
Putting a little more money down, fitting a little better.
33. What kept you sane?
Good friends, absolutely.

I'm gonna say Hayley Atwell.
35. What political issue stirred you the most?
Maybe the presidential?
36. Who did you miss?
Seeing my close friends and specifically Stacia, at Otakon.
37. Who was the best new person you met?
Decim caused me to make some pretty awesome people. :)

Just because something is convenient, doesn't mean it's the best fit.
