Happy birthday, Vice (XIV)
It's almost been a year since I made a real post and I promise that I haven't forgotten about here. I've been writing...just elsewhere. To catch up on a year is a big task.
All things considered, I can't complain about today at all. Woke up at almost 4 AM and flipped through the Metal Gear Solid HD Premium Package artbook for the first time. OMG, so beautiful. It made me as excited as flipping through the original Art of books for the first time. Watched the MGSV Mother Base birthday (which helped cement the connection) and did yoga before going into work.
My co-workers left me alone for the afternoon and I was mostly caught up so I could nap and my new person doesn't seem like a dipshit at all. It was really a gift.
Got off on time and headed to Dave and Busters where I beat Time Crisis 5 True Mastermind edition and had a decently proper Maker's Mark burger (better if it was just pulled pork) before getting my birthday S'mores Frap and meeting Tierney for X-Men Apocalypse.
She brought me a big birthday balloon and cookie and I can't help but smile while looking at it. ^_^ The movie was nonsensical at parts (even less tight than DoFP) but she was wonderful to whisper wtf's with. We chatted in the her car after the movie and we're going to dinner tomorrow. Came home and Grace colored the picture that she drew of us in MGS style and I love it so much.
Life's not always easy, but I have wonderful people in my life who love me and show it and I couldn't be more grateful. Love love <3
