I have many obsessions, which often include my love for Diet Coke and the OTPs of my many fandoms. But it wasn't until recently that I noticed something odd about the way I used my browser. Like most new browsers, mine uses tabs within a single browser. And like many internet surfers, I usually have more than one browser up at a time.
Now time may not seem unusual, except that I tend to have anywhere from 5-10 browsers up at a time. And that might not sound too strange...expect...within each browser I find that I have an average of 30 tabs open at a time! Doing the math, that's 300 TABS at a given moment!
It's like an obsession. And I can't stop!
I'd like to blame it on my lack of time. Seeing as I often have others things I must be doing, I'll see a link I like (such as a fic or new website that I'd like to read) and I'll open it in a new tab for later. Then when I have the time required to read over the link, I just find the tab. Unfortunately, I do this a lot.
I could simply bookmark the link, but my bookmarks are SO UNORGANIZED that I'm afraid to open my favorites for fear of being eaten alive. (I have to have at least 5000+ bookmarks.) Thus, if I were to bookmark the link of interest, I'd never really find it again.
Alas, it seems that I will be plagued be this plight for some time. -__-; But it has yet to affect my browser speeds, so all is well for now. And look at that...I just wrote all about browser tabs. XP
