V had been quite worried when he found out Lan was no-where to be found.

He was even more worried when he received a message from her, asking for a safe place to hide. He'd told her his home was safe, and it was. SHe would arrive shortly.

Now he waited. He'd never found waiting more difficult in his life.

In that case! There is a knock at the, umm, wall? Door? Portal? Whatever is the most proper way to enter.

"V?"

V is there, happily hanging a large painting on the far wall.

"Hullo, Lan. Do come in. Would you like some tea?"

She enters his home and pauses to appreciate the painting.

"Hello V, and I'd love some, thank you." She's smiling again and her colours are much better. "I think I've decided not to move. Just...well, so you know. It would have been too much of a hassle."

"With as many things as you've collected, I can easily see why relocation would be difficult," he answered lightly. "Your home is undamaged, I take it?"

"Yes. It's still safe and still hidden." She'll follow him to the kitchen for tea?

"One of the things I came here for was to let you know that you can ask me anything. I'm not always the most forthcoming person, but I'll honestly and openly answer you."
