Very nice.

I've always liked the J/7 stories where Chakotay is a deluded jerk... LOL... I've never had much use for him. :)

There were several places in the story I noticed where the word was... incorrect I guess is the best way to describe it. For example Costume instead of Custom... a spell checker wouldn't catch that. Get a beta-reader, or even just a friend to read over it to catch stuff like that, that a spell check program won't...

You have great ideas... good takes on the J/7 relationship... I'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff! :)

I love love love Janeway telling Chakotay off! LOL... he's so clueless sometimes but fun to watch him get put in his place.

thanks for reading and enjoying it, despite the mistakes. i have to apologise for them, i just put it online before i lost my nerve. i know it´s no excuse. i promise to do better:)

never liked chakotay. i never liked the end of the show, when he and seven became a couple i thought it was a joke.

i simply had to do something about it:)

Oh, no apologies necessary. Mistakes happen, and posting before you lose your nerve is actually the only 'excuse' that is understandable! :)

It really grossed me out when Chakotay and Seven became a couple. Seven was never meant to be with anyone else than Capt. Janeway!

Good for you! In my opinion, that is actually what fan fiction is for, to let us correct the mistakes the show makes ;)

thanks for being so understanding.

my thoughts exactly. it was ridiculous. when i watched the show on german television i was always waiting for j/7 to kiss and come together, every week. i was always kind of angry when it didn´t. chakotay, i mean really.

i agree, fan fiction forever!

"thanks for being so understanding."

LOL... no problem. All I have to do is think back a decade or so ago and remember the deep abiding terror I had after posting my first Xena fan fic and I'm not kidding when I say TERROR... I was a wreck! I look back on it now and see SO many mistakes! :)

Fan fiction is my fallback. When shows get canceled or don't go the way I want... I just sigh and say.."There's always fan fiction." :)

oh..btw... I love your Icon... Big Eye Puss-in-Boots is my favorite. When my daughter watches Shrek I don't watch, but she tells me when Big Eye Puss-in-boots is coming on so I can see it. ;)

speaking of terror, i do sooo know what you mean:)
i do not only see mistakes, when i go over a chapter again i nearly always think it´s complete crap. i´m never satisfied with what i´ve written. for me it´s never good enough.

puss-in-boots is so cute, the best character in the movies.

btw i really loved your like andrea story. i think i´ve read it three times by now. it has everything i like, humour, mush, romance and excitement. wil there be a sequel?

i´m currently writing an au dwp story, it´s getting along slowly but work collides with life more often than not.

"when i go over a chapter again i nearly always think it´s complete crap. i´m never satisfied with what i´ve written. for me it´s never good enough."

ROFL! I just recently had a discussion with my beta reader about that very subject. Literally...like the day before yesterday! LOL They assured me that "All writers are mad" and it's very normal to read a story while in one mood and think it's great, then read it again in a different mood and believe it's total crap. So know you aren't alone. :)

Oh... LOL.. I'm glad you liked the DWP story. Actually, the sequel is with the beta reader right now... but I'm thinking it's total crap so we'll see what the results are when I get comments back. There wasn't really as story as far as I could tell... just a lot of rambling. ;) We'll see. It's more like a setup for the next one than anything else.

Ohhh... Real life has a way of interfering with stuff we really want to do :) I've had my fair share of that! I'm sure you'll work around it and we'll get to read your DWP story soon!

that´s it, you hit the nail on the head. good to know others feel the same way:)

it doesn´t matter. whatever it is, i can assure you i will read it. i can´t get enough of all these wonderful stories.

hopefully, i will.

LOL... My husband was HORRIFIED when he found out that the pairing from DWP that I like was Miranda/Andy. But I completely love them.

I've always been drawn to older/younger pairs. beginning with my childhood crushes up until Xena/Gabrielle, and subsequent pairings like... Janeway/Seven, Sarah/Cameron... Miranda/Andy... Olivia/Natalia... I have an obsessive personality anyway... fan fiction helps me channel it :)

well, my girlfriend can relate to your husband:) she was not exactly horrified but she does not understand it. each to their own, is what she has to say to that.

i know what you mean with the older/younger pairing. it has a certain something, at least for me. miranda/andy is a wonderful pairing.

as for being obsessive, i say why not - long live fanfiction

LOL... "To each their own" is a great philosophy. Mine pretty much just ignores my obsessions as much as possible...much like how I ignore his... ;) We've been happily married for almost 13 years, but there are parts of our lives that are quite separate from each other... LOL. It works for us.

Yes!... Long Live fanfiction!

13 years is quite some time, congratulations. so it obviously works very well for you.

i suppose everybody needs his/her own field of interest to make a successful relationship.

please keep going with your obsession:)

LOL.. well there are some things we share and enjoy together.

I do intend to keep going with it, for as long as I can.

We all should. ;)
