I downloaded the free kindle for PC app. When I purchased the book it let me download it right to my computer.

I don't know that there was anything I didn't like. The concept of the marriage between Henry and Elenor was one I've often thought might have been a reality for the time period so I was drawn into the "family" idea immediately and I think you developed it in the story honestly and wonderfully.
Her heartbreak in the beginning was painful to read, which I think you intended. It was needed to feel her relief later that love was again possible in her life.
The other relationships felt honest. They were as complex as they were simple.
I LOVED the little pieces of Andy's character from SOF that were part of this character as well.
I just really enjoyed it! I could see the characters from DWP but stilled believed them as individuals of Imperial Whites.
I'll read it again. And I look forward to whatever else you offer.
BTW, it has also encouraged me to give in to those around me and possibly write a novel myself. As they say "everyone has one good book in them" I think I'm going to try it.
Thanks!

glad it worked so well;) that's what i did, before i got my kindle, as well.

a marriage of convenience that suited both parties was the only way, at least for me, to establish a family in this context. i am happy you think it worked out well.
you are right, of course. she had loved and lost but then came to realise she could love again.

there are still more ideas running around in my head. i suppose we will have to wait and see what will be next.

you should indeed give it a try. all it will cost you is your time and effort. i am interested to read what you have to tell.
