You do it to yourself.....

I went into HMV during lunch today to enter to the horrible sounds of Mark Ronson's re-imagining of 'Just'. It was painful but headed straight down to the vinyl section to see what was out. The man next to me was picking up everything, I had to look to see what he was doing. It was Mark Ronson.
My hate for this mans work runs deep in me and everything I hear about him makes me hate him as a person. His smug face was the point I turned the Brits off last night (oh I could talk about that abomination for hours but I'll save you the pain) and there he was standing next to me.
But I did nothing. I actually stood looking at him for a while to the point he turned and looked at me and briskly walked over the decks. Why did I not say anything? I could've said 'Don't you just hate this song?' in regards to the hateful brass shopping centre music blaring out that he calls his own. Instead perhaps I realised I should not my vendetta against him so personal. It's a bit like Moby. Everyone hates Moby, well except the millions that bought 'Pla'y but everytime I see him on TV he comes across really funny and up for a laugh. Is it possible that Mark could be a good person that just happens to make completely shit music?
Well I guess I will never find out. If I had thrown that question at him and he had laughed I probably would've liked him but until then I'll continue hating him, but perhaps just not to his face.
