Archive Jaejoong and Yunho were walking towards Jaejoong’s dorm, hands held together after dinner. The two had abandoned the rest after the practice session - which went well with no disruption after Yoochun’s outburst - for some time of their own. Jaejoong looked at his partner, sensing that something was weighing on Yunho’s mind, for he was not usually that quiet. Knowing Yunho, Jaejoong let it be for Yunho would only speak when he was ready.
“I wonder what Chunnie’s exclamation today was about.”
Jaejoong voiced out the thought that had been running round in circles in his mind the whole day.
“I wonder what his connection to Kyuhyun is.”
Jaejoong cast a worried look at Yunho when Yunho’s hand tensed around his.
“Yunnie?”
Yunho shook his head, smiling tightly at Jaejoong. Jaejoong stared a little before continuing.
“Did you hear them sing today?” Jaejoong smiled as he remembered the voices. “Henry had such a cute voice, and the way he blushed before he played the violin was simply adorable. Though I think someone might want to claim that to himself.”
Jaejoong nodded knowingly as he remembered the scene.
“Zhou Mi - his Korean sounds much better than Hannie’s when we first met him. But he does have a voice which we can work with.” Jaejoong nodded, his mind already churning with ideas of how to merge the voices together.
“Oh, and Hyunnie…”
Jaejoong drifted off, not only because of the tightening of Yunho’s fingers around his, but also from the fact that he had automatically associated Kyuhyun with the little boy in his memory.
“So, it’s Hyunnie now?”
Yunho’s cold voice cut through.
Yunho wanted to have a good time with Jaejoong that night, but he could not stop his thoughts from returning back to the afternoon when he caught Jaejoong staring at that boy, and the day he went to pick his lover up at the café. The two had been standing so close and staring at each other straight in the eyes. He never quite believed people when they said jealousy had a colour. But that day, he believed it. He believed that jealousy was green.
He could not stop himself from tensing when he heard Jaejoong mentioning that boy’s name. He knew that Jaejoong knew that something was bothering him - he thought fondly of how his Jaejoong knew what he was feeling without him saying anything - but he hoped that he gave a smile that was convincing enough. He tried to re-focus his attention to Jaejoong, but something snapped in him when he heard what Jaejoong said.
“Oh, it’s Hyunnie now?”
Yunho said coldly to Jaejoong, letting go of his hand as well.

Siwon sat by the dinner table, wishing that he could be with his two hyungs instead of here. He smiled at the girl - some distantly related cousin - as he turned towards his uncle who was asking about his school life.
“So Siwon, which year are you in?”
“I’m in my second year.”
“I heard that your school gave a transfer student a scholarship.”
Siwon turned his attention to yet another uncle. He nodded. “A second-year doing Mathematics called Cho Kyuhyun.”
Suddenly, a crash echoed in the room, causing Siwon to jump in his seat.
“Father! Are you alright?”
His father had accidentally dropped the glass of red wine on the floor, causing the glass to shatter and the wine to stain the carpet.
“Yes, yes. I’m fine. The glass just slipped from my hand. Don’t mind me. Carry on.”
Siwon slowly sat back down at his father’s words, worried at the pale look on his father’s face. He turned to his uncle, ready to continue the conversation when he realised that they were no longer paying attention to him. Instead they were talking to each other about their business, though Siwon sensed some underlying tension in the room, which he did not understand.
Was it something that I said?
Siwon looked around the room, noticing that almost all the adults seemed unusually tensed while the children were simply happily eating. Something is going on.

“Hannie ah, what are you doing?”
Heechul asked from his position on his bed, watching Hankyung as the other used the computer with an intense look on his face. They were alone after having dinner with the rest. Siwon had wanted to stay for dinner, but had a family dinner to attend.
“Hmmm?” Hankyung did not quite hear Heechul’s question.
“What are you doing?”
Heechul repeated his question, climbing off the bed to look at the screen.
“The St Mary Church Orphanage?” Heechul read off the screen. “Hyah, Hannie, are you hiding something from me?”
He spun the chair Hankyung was sitting on towards him.
“Huh? What?” Hankyung was confused. He was only on the search page, typing in the name of the orphanage they found Ryeowook in.
“Are you seeing someone else?”
Hankyung blinked at Heechul’s next question. What? He followed Heechul’s finger which was pointing at the box in which he had typed the name.
“Why would that say I’m seeing someone else? It’s just the name of an orphanage.”
Hankyung tried to explain, not quite sure why Heechul was upset about. Hankyung continued when that sentence did nothing to ease the sadness in Heechul.
“It’s where we found Ryeowook.”
This time, it was Heechul’s turn to blink. Where we found Ryeowook? Oh? Oh…
Heechul immediately turned away from Hankyung, attempting to hide his furiously flushed face from Hankyung by burying his face in his pillow.
“Chullie?”
Hankyung was now alarmed. He moved towards the bedside, trying to pull Heechul off the pillow.
“Chullie, are you alright?”
Heechul nodded with his face still red from embarrassment. “I’m fine.”
Apparently that was not enough to satisfy the mother-hen, who forcibly pulled Heechul off the pillow.
“Chullie ah, why are you so red? Are you sick?”
Instantly, Hankyung placed his hand on Heechul’s forehead, trying to test his temperature. Heechul shook his head, pulling Hankyung’s hand off him.
“I’m fine. I was just being silly.”
“Silly?”
Heechul bit his lip, not quite wanting to say it to Hankyung.
“Ithoughtyouweregoingtoadoptababybehindmyback.”
“You thought I was what?” Hankyung said, not quite sure if he caught Heechul’s words correctly.
Why must I love someone who has such good hearing? Heechul thought.
“I thought you had another person behind my back and was going to adopt a baby with him.”
Heechul threw caution into the wind, exclaiming it out to Hankyung, but could not stop the flush from appearing on his neck.
Hankyung could not stop the smile from appearing on his face, nor the chuckle that threatened to escape.
“Right, laugh all you want, you meanie. Make fun of your lover, of Cinderella.”
Heechul mumbled, crossing his arms across his chest, despite his face still being red.
“It was a genuine worry. Why else would a lover be looking at orphanages? How would I know Ryeowookie was from -”
Everything else that Heechul was going to say he swallowed back in.
Hankyung leaned in before Heechul could turn his back to Hankyung fully, extinguishing the mumbling with his mouth.
Slowly, he broke off, still grinning at Heechul.
“You know, you are silly,” Heechul was about to protest, “But you are my silly Chullie.”
Without giving Heechul a chance to reply, Hankyung leaned in again, his lips touching Heechul’s as he wrapped his arms around the slender waist.
Any thoughts of continuing the search was abandoned for the night.
