R.I.P. Steve Irwin
Oh my gosh. As usual, I turned on the computer to check on some stuff after showering today. I was really shocked when, instead of the usual news about celebrities, I found this:
STEVE Irwin, one of Australia's most well-known and well-loved figure
It is understood Irwin, a passionate conservationist and wildlife advocate, was killed when a stingray barb went through his chest. Irwin spent every day working with all manner of dangerous creatures - giant crocodiles, poisonous snakes, komodo dragons - but it was a less obvious hazard that claimed his life.
Sad, sad, tragic news. I still find it a little hard to believe. Poor guy...
