My alma mater (ohh, it sounds so fancy to call OWU that now that I have graduated, lol) is now giving free tuition to all veterans who served after 9/11. I thought it was pretty cool. Too bad they didn't work with people like me who needed tuition help too. Okay, they did. I got a scholarship, but the school is still too expensive. Tuition itself, without room and board, is roughly $35,000/year. Fucking ridiculous, man. Oh well. I've graduated. Now I just owe a lot of money every month come December for the, oh, next 20 years or so.
I haven't been updating lately, not really, because my life is considerably less entertaining. I'm unemployed and I hate it. I mean sure, getting caught up on Party Down and Nurse Jackie (which everyone should watch!) was fun yesterday, but honestly, there is only so much TV watching and book reading a girl can do before she feels like crap. Knowing that I really don't have to be doing anything makes watching and reading less enjoyable. I mean, ok, I still love it, but I just wish I had a job. And I'm doing everything I can to avoid retail, I mean, I have a college degree, but it's looking like less and less of a possibility. Maybe I should just take the GRE and go to graduate school.
