Holy frakking hell. I take back what I said when it was first revealed that Ellen was the fifth. I thought it was anti-climactic, but I was wrong. Ellen is pretty freaking awesome as the fifth. Because it was basically her idea for it all, is what I gathered. Because she's the parent. All final five are parents of the SEVEN models.

As for the lost EIGHTH model (who were the number sevens actually)? Who wants to bet it's Kara? She had to come back somehow. Ellen said Cavil, or John as Ellen named him, corrupted the genetic formula. Which could easily turn Daniel, a boy, into Kara Thrace, a girl. A girl who is very manly. Think about it. Kara is manly with her actions, her sex drive, her entire outlook on life is quite masculine. And Ellen said Daniel was an artist. We clearly can see that Kara is quite artistic. Her apartment on Caprica and the paintings she did on the Demetrius. While, I never wanted Kara to be a cylon, I think the fact that she could be one now, the lost 8th model, is way better than making her the fifth. Though I almost hope she isn't the lost corrupted model. Because that's where the show is steering us, and I think the writers would come up with something better. But I dunno. It's already pretty crazy.

There was just so much revealed in this entire episode. I'm going to have to watch it again and take notes. Like fraktacular notes. It wasn't just a little bit revealed over a large amount of time. The writers were like "WHAM BAM IN YOUR FACE" with all of this new information thanks to Anders and Ellen.

Like how Cavil/John made all five members suffer. But what I don't get is that Cavil/John knew who the five were all along? I mean it makes sense since he was the first one. The first son. (Which kind of makes me laugh now that I think about it because he was BROTHER Cavil. Haha. Very clever writers.) But so Cavil/John made all of the final five suffer. Put them in their various situations. Tyrol (Who's Chief again, yay!) and Tigh were put into the military. Anders was a pyramid player and resistance fighter. Tory? Well, hell I don't even care about her. Is that bad? And then there's Ellen. She mother of all creation. Kind of.

And Anders? I LOVE THAT HE WAS THE ONE WHO REMEMBERED IT ALL. BUT WHY ISN'T HE WAKING UP? THIS IS NOT OKAY. ANDERS NEEDS TO WAKE UP. AND QUICKLY GROW BACK HIS HAIR. Because I much prefer my Michael Trucco with hair. Anders bald kind of scared me.

And, I am pretty sure with Kara's "death" and all that, she isn't really his wife anymore. She shouldn't have been the one to make any choice about him. They aren't married. Anymore. And while you guys know I'm a hardcore Lee/Kara shipper, I adored the Kara/Anders scenes and storylines here. I loved it. And to hear him yelling at her "I STOOD UP FOR YOU ON THE DEMETRIUS!" made me love him even more. It made me almost feel the Kara/Anders love. Okay, I feel it. I've always felt it. I love them so much. They just can't touch the Kara/Lee love.

I JUST WANT TO KNOW MORE. NOW.

AND THANK THE GODS (heh) THAT BOOMER LET ELLEN ESCAPE! I KNEW THERE WAS HOPE FOR BOOMER YET! YAY BOOMER! And did you notice the way it cut to Tyrol when Ellen was talking to Boomer about love or something strange like that. I was like, AWWWWWWWW!

Also, WHERE WAS HELO? Oh that's right, starring as Paul "Bad Ass" Ballard on Joss Whedon's Dollhouse (which I will write an entire other update about later, once my brain stops being all mushy from BSG and all the stuff that was revealed in this episode. I will say this though ... I really like Dollhouse. And not just because it's from Joss. Though I did go "GRR ARG" with the monster when the Mutant Enemy screen came up at the end.)

And the idea that Tyrol and Tory were madly in love once upon a time? GAG ME.
And I liked the way Roslin handed over the presidency to Lee. "I'll try to be smarter. And wronger." Hehe, oh Lee.
