Privileged 1x16 and 1x17
All About Confessions.
First, why can't Michael Cassidy ever get the girl? I didn't care about him getting the girl on The OC because he was the one who came between Seth and Summer. But since the beginning of Privileged, I have wanted Charlie and Megan together. I like Will. I LOVE Will, but he isn't really that great of a guy, and as we all know, I am a sucker for BFFs falling in love (Kara and Lee!), so when I heard Michael Cassidy was leaving the show I cried. And tonight, watching his last episode with Megan, I cried. I mean straight up hardcore cried. And you should know, it takes a lot for me to cry. For a long time the only two things that I cried during were The Lion King and Pearl Harbor, so that's saying something.
The kiss. The confession. The fight. Everything. It was sad. And Will did provoke him. And he has every right to be upset. It's true. But as I was originally a Megan/Charlie shipper, I'm standing strong. But part of me feels as if this is taking the Veronica Mars route. They introduce two guys and they go with whomever the audience seemed to like more. That's why they had Duncan, the ex-boyfriend, and Logan, the obligatory jackass. And everyone seemed to love Logan more than the Dunk, so Duncan - he of the perpetual blue shirt - wound up impregnating Meg and running away with the baby after she died, leaving Logan and Veronica to have their EPIC love.
I hope that wasn't what happened on Privileged. I know the creator said if the show gets a pickup for a second season (which, it better because it is so freaking good), Michael will be back. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
- Oh yeah, and I totally saw why Sage hated churches before she said why.
- And I love that Zach loves Battlestar Galactica. And is getting Rose to watch it. And he mentioned Boomer! YAY! SO MUCH LOVE.
- And I saw the whole "and your grandfather" thing coming from that woman. But why did they have to pick the witch from the recent Parent Trap?

- Why doesn't my hair look as cute as Rose's?
- Robert Buckley is hot. HOT. HOT.
- Will ... I don't know what to say. Charlie's the man. I hate the fighting that's going with them though.
