The first season of Reaper is
coming to DVD on November 4th!
AWESOME.
How is it that I have 31 Veronica Mars icons, and not one Reaper icon? What is up with that?
AND a TV meme swiped from
santaburger 01. Name a TV show series in which you have seen every episode at least twice:
Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Gilmore Girls, Greek, Veronica Mars, Sports Night, Wonderfalls, Frasier, Mad About You, Full House, The Brady Bunch
02. Name a show you can't miss:
Greek, How I Met Your Mother, Battlestar Galactica, Bones, Pushing Daisies, Reaper, The Office, Chuck, It's Always Sunny, Mad Men, Gossip Girl, Smallville (though now I can watch them all online so I don't have to make sure I see them on TV). But I used to have others, however they are sadly dead now.
03. Name an actor that would make you more inclined to watch a show:
Milo Ventimiglia, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Kristen Bell and now more recently I know I'll watch anything that has Neil Patrick Harris, oh and probably Katee Sackhoff. Okay, and Jamie Bamber or Taylor Kitsch. I'm a girl, give me a break!
04. Name an actor who would make you less likely to watch a show:
Minka Kelly. I know I love Friday Night Lights and I love Tim/Lyla, but Minka just doesn't do it for me. She annoys me. So bad. I swear all of her emotions have the same face. And she talks through her teeth a lot. ANNOYING.
05. Name a show you can, and do, quote from:
Gilmore Girls, The OC (Oh how I love you Seth Cohen), The Office and Sports Night. Oh and I use catchphrases from HIMYM (usually unintentionally, though I haven't yet been able to use "suit up!")
06. Name a show you like that no one else enjoys:
As for my real life, Battlestar Galactica. They all look at me like I'm frakking insane when I talk about it. I know you guys like it and awesome people like Joss Whedon and Kevin Smith love it, but in real life, I have no friends that watch it. My dad thinks it's pretty okay though. However, he wishes I would shut up about "how hot/awesome Apollo is" or about "being a viper pilot like Kara Thrace."
07. Name a TV show which you've been known to sing the theme song:
Gilmore Girls (generally with dancing), The OC, Dawson's Creek, Veronica Mars, One Tree Hill, How I Met Your Mother (yes, even though there are no words), Wonderfalls, Laverne and Shirley, Brady Bunch, seriously this list could go on and on and on.
08. Name a show you would recommend everyone to watch:
Greek, Battlestar Galactica (even though it's ending next year! *sniff*), Sports Night (FOR SURE), Buffy and Veronica Mars.
09. Name a TV series you own:
Oh God. I can't name just one. Ready for this: (Complete series have the *)
Buffy*, Angel (I only need season 2 now!), Firefly*, Gilmore Girls*, Veronica Mars*, Greek, Battlestar Galactica, Smallville, The OC, One Tree Hill, Sports Night*, Dawson's Creek, Friday Night Lights, How I Met Your Mother, It's Always Sunny, Roswell*, Bones, House, Dead Like Me, The X-Files, Grey's Anatomy, The Office, Weeds, Wonderfalls*, That 70s Show.
10. Name an actor who launched his/her entertainment career in another medium, but has surprised you with his/her acting chops in television:
Honestly, Kristin Chenoweth. I know she's been on TV for a long time and acted in many things, but the first place I ever encountered her was on Broadway. She's a magnificent singer and I love even more as Olive Snook on Pushing Daisies. She makes the show.
11. What is your favorite episode of your favorite series?
I'll choose only a few from my a very shortened list of shows.
Buffy - "Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered," "Once More With Feeling," "Tabula Rasa," and "Fear, Itself."
Gilmore Girls - "Lost and Found," "There's the Rub," "A Deep Fried Korean Thanksgiving" and "Nag Hammadi is Where They Found the Gnostic Gospels."
Veronica Mars - "Weapons of Class Destruction," and "Leave it to Beaver."
Battlestar Galactica - "Unfinished Business" and "Crossroads Part II."
Greek - "Multiple Choice."
12. Name a show you keep meaning to watch, but you just haven't gotten around to yet:
Felicity, The West Wing, and I need to get caught up on Mad Men and Dexter.
13. Ever quit watching a show because it was so bad?
No, not completely. I'll let it simmer for awhile and then I'll go back and get caught up. AKA Grey's Anatomy and Smallville from these past seasons. But that was mostly due to the writer's strike. But I usually hate beginning a show and then not finishing it. However, there are some that I don't mind stopping (Private Practice). And then there are those that I stopped watching but want to finish now (Charmed - I quit watching when Prue died. WTF? And then after a year or so I started randomly watching it. I want to finish it.)
14. Name a show that's made you cry multiple times:
I rarely ever cry. Even during really sad movies, but Buffy made me cry multiple times. Hello, Joyce died, Buffy died, XANDER HAD HIS EYE POKED OUT. Seriously, I cried at that. Xander was/is my favorite Buffy character ever, and Caleb poked his eye out. NOT FUCKING COOL. I still cry at that part. Or fast forward through it. And then I cried when it was over. I bawled.
15. What do you eat while watching TV?
I don't usually eat while watching TV.
16. How often do you watch TV?
More than you and everyone else you know. Combined. No, I usually have at least 15 hours of television a week. Not including rewatching/catching up.
17. What's the last TV show you watched?
Tom and Jerry. Seriously, I just watched it during lunch. I love that. It's so the best cartoon ever made.
18. What's your favorite/preferred genre of TV?
Fantasy, supernatural, type. I mean look at my favorite shows: Buffy, Angel, Firefly, Battlestar Galactica, Wonderfalls, Heroes, Supernatural, Smallville, Dead Like Me, Pushing Daisies, Reaper.
Then I'd say comedy/dramedy. I rarely watch any drama, and I hate every form of CSI and Law and Order.
19. What was the first TV show you were obsessed with?
Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Truly obsessed, I was. I mean there were shows I liked obviously, but that was the first show I had to see every freaking week. It was the first show that I threatened someone if they talked during.
20. What TV show do you wish you never watched?
Any of Private Practice. I saw like three episodes. I hate that show. So much. TAKE ADDISON BACK TO SEATTLE GRACE FOR GOOD DAMMIT.
21. What's the weirdest show you enjoyed?
Keeping Up With the Kardashians. Swear to God. That show kills me. I love it. I'm addicted to the stupid shit that happens on that show. I hate reality TV, but I'll watch it.
22. What TV show scared you the most?
Unsolved Mysteries. LOL. Seriously, I'd watch that shit when I was younger and then I'd be scared the entire night of something crazy/horrible happening to me. But after that, The X-Files. Though that show scared me in a good way. I want to believe!
23. What is the funniest TV show you have ever watched?
Sports Night, How I Met Your Mother, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The Office and Gilmore Girls.
