Downside of living with family
I'm living with my baby brother, and he happens to be a computer geek. So, he's throwing a LAN party tonight for a bunch of his geeky friends!
There are seven (teenage? I assume) boys in the basement, on four Xboxes, using every available screen in the house except my personal laptop. Even my tiny little TV that I took to uni with me is downstairs in use. It's so depressing!
I have my music cranked up now, since I can't leave the TV on for noise. See, if this was a regular roommate, no way would I have given up my TV. I use it! Hmph.
My brother gets that I hate it, though, so he's asked me to go out and buy them food for supper, and has given me twice as much cash as I'll actually need. Bribery ftw :D
