Oh my god, you guys.
I was ON THE MALL.
I was waiting at the D and 7th seventh street checkpoint (which as far as I can tell, they NEVER OPENED) at 5:30 this morning. It was *hell* getting to the Mall by time the ceremonies started (not to mention leaving) and I barely made it.
But I *did*. And it was *so* worth it. Just - I was there. (And I have a button that says so! *g*) I was *there* in that crowd, cheering and singing and (yes) crying.
Barack Obama is our president and I was there when it happened. So awesome, y'all.
