((Another ficlet -- this time involving both my pups. Came to me during a discussion of quantum mechanics over the lunch table, yes, I am a geek in the company of geeks.))
Cable: Huntress, I'd like you and Rictor to make sure you get all the data off the computers before we blow this place up.
Huntress: With all due respect, sir, Rictor is an idiot, sir.
Rictor: But a devilishly handsome idiot.
Huntress: A delusional idiot, sir.
Cable: I won't deny that Rictor's ego could power small countries--
Rictor: I object! My ego could power small solar systems.
Huntress: His ego is the perfect blackbody. It emmits radiation over all frequencies.
Rictor: You could use my ego to define Planck's Constant. Sir.
Cable: Just do it, you two.
