I believe I left off with Blue Like Jazz the last time I updated my book list. So here's from 8 on.
8. Long Day's Journey into Night - Eugene O'Neill
9. On the Road - Jack Kerouac
10. Slaughterhouse-Five - Kurt Vonnegut
11. Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close - Jonathan Safran Foer
12. The Vagina Monologues - Eve Ensler
13. Digital Fortress - Dan Brown
14. Sellevision - Augusten Burroughs
Thoughts:
I really enjoyed Long Day's Journey into Night. Short & simple play. Was able to tie everything I learned in HDFS to the book. Basic anti-Emersonian. On the Road was not a favorite. Could have been tainted by the fact that I had to write a 10 page paper on it. Slaughterhouse-Five was okay. I liked it more than I thought I would. Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close was interesting. Flowed pretty easily due to the pictures added in. The Vagina Monologues was a disappointment. The performance of it at UConn was much more enjoyable. I guess that could have been expected though. Digital Fortress was an easy tanning read. Predictable. Sellevision....gag me with a spoon. Big disappointment. Stick to your memoirs, Burroughs.
