(no subject)
Interesting weekend. Friday was up and down, considering the goddamn traffic made us miss about an hour or so of the concert. Anyway, we got there a little before 7 and walked right in with our VIP passes and got free food from Moe's, minus the annoying screaming "Welcome to Moe's!!!", Thank God. Went up on stage during Taproot which was pretty cool, got pictures taken with Garrett from Zito and Garrett. Then me and Nicole hung out backstage and went up during Story of the Year, which was definitely the highlight of the evening since the guitarist gave her a guitar to play and pulled her in front of the whole concert (it wasn't plugged in, which was probably a good thing :P). The ride home was a little weird but we won't go into that since I know it didn't really matter anyway... Overall, a very cool night. Saturday, woke up and came home, then Jared came over to do the Spanish project, it was hilarious, but it took about 6 hours. While the cake was in the oven, we watched "Riders on the Storm" from our Geist video project sophomore year, which was really scary to think how long it's been and how fast it has gone :( On one hand, I can't wait to leave, and on the other, I'm going to miss all of it so much. Too many thoughts going through my head right now, I think it comes down to me really just wanting to DO something right now, but maybe it just isn't meant to be. I will be just fine. Concert was good, Saturday was good, and now we get to the bad part, homework. Hasta luego...
