Last weekend, we had our Gawad Kalinga. It was drizzling but we painted a house for a family who lived in the slums. It's odd that I don't remember much of the past week. I got pretty high grades. Then I humiliated myself. I cried last Thursday. I've had a bad week last week. Probably a foreshadowing of worse weeks come January. I'm scared of what the future holds knowing I have no control over them anymore. I hate losing control of my life hence the fear.
I went to the mall for the first part of my Christmas shopping, the mandatory kind. I bought Tina, my baby for AFS, Neil Gaiman's Coraline. For Eizel, I got her the Putumayo Presents: Latin Groove CD. When I saw that whole rack of Putumayo CDs, I vowed to collect them. I also bought stuff for my teachers. I still couldn't decide on the gifts I want to buy for my friends so I decided to postpone it to next year. Bea got me Pizza Hut Chicken Poppers pizza, for our debate club exchange gift.
Monday, we had our exchange gift. Anne gave me Nick Hornby's High Fidelity. Yay! The vigil was pretty emotional. I'll spare you the details. The next morning, we had the dawn mass. I can't believe it will be our last dawn mass as AA students. ): Group hug! Afterwards, we went to Caria's house, as usual. It has become tradition. We ate breakfast and lunch there. Took a bath and dressed up. We all went to Marquinton via Bau driving.
The Family Stone sucked. We couldn't watch King Kong because we were late. Kat, Chelly, Marben, Gads and I went to Katipunan. Double date since Chelly was with Jio. Chismax to the max! We talked about THE most controversial stuff. :O My Starbucks card, which I started filling up last Monday, is now down to two stickers left. I got my planner! Oh jeez. I can't believe I had 19 21 coffee drink purchases in a span of 8 11 days.Well, my friends and mum did help me. Thanks, Chelly, Kat, Marben and Pam! Kat brought Chelly and I home. I slept like there was no tomorrow.
