since there aren't many LJ users here in Brazil, I'll start writing here in English only.

here's the deal: there's a website named orkut. it's like MySpace, only that's invitation-only, and doesn't have some music, video, and other pages.
it's really popular here in Brazil, however many people don't like its pale-blue color scheme. instead, they want to change it to pink.
many people have joined the campaign, even Capricho magazine (a major teen mag here).
I see no problem in pink. in fact, even my LJ is pink! (is that something uncommon between straight males?)
however, a more effective way to make that site pink would be selling it to Deutsche Telekom (T-Mobile's parent), through its online division, T-Online. why? because Telekom's corporate color is pink. hot pink, that is. (but they prefer to call it "magenta")
