The first large purchases for the trip hav been made. My new MacBook Pro (15" - I was gonna go for the 17 - but, hey - less to carry is less to carry. Plus they didn't have the case in orange. I'm shallow like that.)

Is there a way to upload your interviews to a protected podcast that only you can access?

I was thinking along similar lines- I don't know anything about podcasting, but any audio file that could be burned to CD could be uploaded to a server and stored there. I do that with files when my computer gets too stuffed.

y'know - I don't know about podcasting, but I do happen to work for a webhosting company, and thus have pretty unlimited server space. I'm really not sure why I didn't think of that myself. Ugh. So yeah, I can just upload the audio files to my server. I won't *always* have internet access wherever I am, but it won't be too far off. :) thanks!

it is funny how we don't always think of the obvious when faced with an issue. I guess that is why so many of us do verbal/written processing to work issues out. ;)
