I learned about this clothing line called Sworn Virgins on Current TV. They make eco-friendly couture! The use fabric from bamboo, and the girl who did the segment swears that it is über soft. I saw the dresses on tv and even went to their site, and I LOVE IT. They make more of "going out" clothes and I've been looking for those lately (even if I dont really go out). Given the dresses are $150+, I figured that I'm helping the planet so it would be worth it.
So I've decided (for now, at least), that I would want to buy at least a dress or a top from them before this year ends. I really really want a dress, but I saw an open back tunic for $89 and that would do. They sell their stuff at a bunch of boutiques in LA, like Kitson, Atmosphere and Ethel. I think I might buy a dress when I get the money from the insurance company in May. That MAYBE my big purchase from that chunk of cash.
So the search begins...
