I found some of the most hilarious computer-related stuff EVER, and I'm gonna post it here. But have no fear! I understand ya won't understand it, so I'll explain everything to ya.
Roses are #FF0000
Violets are #0000FF
All my base
Are belong to you
I can't really explain hexidecimal (#FF0000 and #0000FF) without confusing you, so I'll keep it short: #FF0000 means Red and #0000FF means Blue in web design terms.
Certain idioms are hard to translate perfectly across languages, and that's where the last two lines come in to play. There was a game imported from Japan back in the 80's (or early 90's?), and one poorly translated line from it made history: All your base all belong to us. Think of it as another person replying -- all my base are belong to you.
There are only 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who don't.
This one is amazing!
In our number system, we have ten numbers (0-9). Binary has only two: 0's and 1's. Without the explanations you really don't care about, I'll give it to you directly -- here are the numbers 0 through 4 in binary.
0 = 0
1 = 1
10 = 2
11 = 3
100 = 4
NOW do you see why there are 10 types of people?
