WGT2006 ... more about it an pictures
so here's finally the missing pictures and stuff about the Wave Gotik Treffen. Finished the pictures yesterday, but I was wasting my time in chatrooms and making some pictures (show you later) and somehow that was much more interesting than writing a LJ-entry ;)
As said before, the WGT was a blast. Friday we arrived around noon in Leipzig, but the hotel room wasn't ready, so we had to sit around and walked a bit through the city. That already was great, as it was already crowded with interesting people ;). The only concert I watched that day was Soko Friedhof. They were okay, I guess, but the sound in the agra-hall was terrible. Screeching ear pinching highs and absolutely no bass ... at all! Can you believe that? A dance combo, but no bass, that's ridiculous. After that we just walked around the agra area and met with friends and stuff ... and had the first shopping spree LOL. Later that day I wanted to see Combichrist, but the line in front of the WerkII was like 150 meters long and it didn't seem to move. So I wasted myself in the agra 4.2 ... there were some DJs playing, but honestly I didn't go to the WGT to listen to Techno ô.O, but that's what it sounded like.
Unfortunately I've got no pictures from Friday, because my brother forgot his cam in his car and was to lazy to get it and I forogt mine at home. But I'm kinda glad that no pictures exist from Friday ;) ...
But me having no cam means also that I don't have that many pictures at all. My brother took like 200, but I couldn't use most of them as he made really weird photos (why does anyone need 10 pictures of a white ceiling???) or from the people he met with, but it simply makes no sense for me to post them as I don't know these people ...
Mmkay, Saturday then. The day began not soo good, I had a serious hangover from Friday night, every attempt to put my hair up ended in a mess (that's why it was more in a Veljanov-style in the end ... just a messy bunch of hair LOL), my makeup didn't like me either and so on. Around 3 pm I drove to the agra to met some friends from the chatroom where I am quite often (http://www.gothic-chat.de), but either I didn't recognize them or most of the people I wanted to see there didn't make it. I guess some were that at 3pm sharp and left as noone was there, because at least a few I knew came like 3.45 or later. After that I just wandered and did some more shopping or at least tried to find things, I wanted to buy on monday, as I had spent to much money already. At 6.30 I drove to the WerkII and that was when my mood turned around completely. First Götterdämmerung, then Tragic Black, All Gone Dead and Bloody Dead And Sexy. That evening was soooo awesome. I was soaked in sweat at the end and, drunk like hell and my voice gave out, it was incredible. I don't really remember that much after that, I guess I was in the agra 4.2 again as I didn't know where the good parties were, because I had no time to look it up in the weeks before ... :/
Please don't look at my face too closely, lol ... the makeup and me had different opinions about how it should look ... and I don't know what made me look like that *sigh*
Sunday was okay, I guess. Had a hangover (again) and concentrated completely on pumping caffein into my system in the morning, so that I didn't recognize people at breakfast ... again. I mean, can you believe it? There were some friends of me in the same hotel and we must have met every morning, but we were too wasted too recognize each other. All Gone Dead were there every morning and I saw heartless_siren on Saturday, but was too slow ... until my brain told me who it was, she was ot of sight.
Erm, okay, back to Sunday. The day started reeeeally slow, caffeine, more caffeine, then lots of diet pepsi (it was free ^^) while getting ready and the first two beers of the day LOL (was free, too ^^). And for the first time I kinda liked my look. I guess it wasn't just me. I got photographed a lot that day and while we were visiting the Moritzbastei to look around there I was interviewed for the official WGT-DVD... if it ever comes out. The one for 2004 is still not available *sigh*. Later that day I met some people again, saw Weto and Tanzwut at the Geyserhaus (because I had nothing better to do and so went with my brother. He is into that kind of music). They were quite good, but it was fucking cold there. After that I went to Deine Lakaien and Moi Dix Mois. I saw Deine Lakaien the seventh or eighth time there and to be honest, it wasn't their best show, the sound totally sucked and they changed the songs a lot ... Moi Dix Mois were great, and the first time this year the sound in the agra was excellent ... but too loud LOL and I had no ear-plugs with me. Later that day I was in the agra4.2 again and in the Darkflower (got pictures shot of me there again *g* I don't even want to know what I looked like).

Then Monday ... was it really the last day already? *sigh* time ran by so fast this year.
You know the morning drill ... looking terrible and pumping caffeine into my system, next year I'll try it i.v. ;)
After that getting ready, fortunately I had to do almost nothing with my hair, as it still looked kinda okay. We had to be out of our room until 12.00am, so I hadn't that much time.
After packing all the stuff in the car we drove to the agra again and drank more coffee. It was really funny there, because I met some friends there and we just made crazy stuff, threw paper planes around, and so on. My brother and Felice/Annie had a fight with paper that was lying around and they really did that like 30 minutes or so LOL. Oh and I did more shopping, I badly needed some basics, as the last pair of white fishnets were so torn that I had to throw them away.
And the rest of the day was a blur. I went to the WerkII again and saw Bloodsucking Zombies From Outer Space (awesome), The Spook (wasn't that good, I went out to make some phone calls), Miguel & The Living Dead and The Other. Unfortunately I had to leave before Blitzkid played, because my brother wanted to leave at 10.30pm, because he had to get up like 6.30 on Tuesday and we met up at the agra, he wanted to see some bands there.
The best thing was the encore of Bloodsucking Zombies. They played a cover of Poison and when all the people wanted to sing the chorus they played 3times as fast LOL ... I'll never forget these faces. Oh, and I invested my last money in beer LOL

Damn, I sooo want to go back there, I didn't have that much fun in ages. How many days is it until the next? 355? Somehing like that :/
But at least I'll go to M'era Luna again this year (it's in August) and perhaps Wacken Open Air (I'm not sure, whether I get free for that)
