*Steps closer, his gaze averting to the boiling tea and the prepared teacups*

Hmm. A bit of a change. Is there an occasion I'm not aware of?

Why, yes. I happened to speak with Yotsuba yesterday, and she gave me something rather special.

*Steps closer to him*

It was a box, a little battered, with a blue bow on the top.

Something from Demyx, really. He thought it would be nice to extend the gift to me. A late Christmas present, I believe.

*Takes Lexaeus' hand gently and rests it on his own chest, against his beating heart*

He told Yotsuba to give it to me.

*Stops as Zexion takes his hand, his brows knitting together thoughtfully as he places his hand on his chest*

*Nods, looking up to him with a small smile*

I needed a day to get used to it...before I could properly let you know.

*Gazes down at him, silently taking note of that noticeable spark in the other's eyes*

... I am in awe, you realize.

I feel lighter, like some sort of weight has been lifted. It's exhilarating...I can see the difference. Remarkable...wonderful.
