Since I joined the community last week sometime, I thought I should probably do an intro post.
I'm Jen. I'm legally blind and having a hard time finding a new job. Right now, and for the past few years, I work for my mom. It's fine, as far as that goes, but you know how it is/can be working and living with someone.
Honestly, I hate doing intros. I never know what to put in them.
I'm working with Visual Services toward getting a new job. Got new glasses courtesy of them and have recently undergone a sensory aid evaluation.
Interesting. I'm 31 and this is the first time I've ever -- to my knowledge -- had a low vision evaluation and a sensory aid evaluation.
I guess that's it. I'm kinda out of things to say. Or, rather, I've drawn a blank intro-wise.
