Kiseop turned to face Kibum’s room’s door and exhaled and reached for the knob. He paused for a while.
“I can’t do this.”
Kiseop pulled his hand back slowly before staring emotionless at Kibum’s door.
“I’ll look like an idiot…I can’t tell him.”
Kibum only stood there, thinking deeply about the situation. He wanted so much to tell his hyung how he really felt.
How he felt everytime Kibum would ask if he already ate, how he felt when Kibum would wrap his arms around him tightly, how he felt when Kibum allowed him to do the same.
He also wanted to tell Kibum how he felt about him and Kevin’s questionable relationship.
Kiseop, a person who isn’t really much into these sort of complicated situations, reached for the knob and pushed the door open.
Kibum whirled around from his laptop, “Yah! Don’t you ever knock?”
Kiseop smiled, he didn’t know what it was about Kibum’s rudeness that kept the corners of his lips pointing upward.
Kiseop fumbled with his fingers before settling himself on Kibum’s bed. “Who said you can come in, huh?” Kibum chuckled before attacking Kiseop and roughing him up a bit.
“Ah~ hyung! Hajimaaa~! I have to tell you something.” Kiseop said brushing down on his crumpled hoodie.
“What? What’s up?” Kibum said combing through his messed hair.
“H-Hyung…”
“Mm?”
“It’s hard to say.”
Kibum raised a brow, “What the hell is it that it’s so hard for you to say? It’s making me more curious.” He said smugly leaning over slightly before pulling back.
“Hyung, stop. I’m serious.”
“Then just tell me, then! Jinjja…” Kibum demanded.
Kiseop sighed, ‘I should just come out with it.’ He thought to himself before turning up to look into Kibum’s eyes slowly.
He stuttered a little, “Hyung I…I just want to let you know…”
There was evident impatience all over Kibum’s face.
“I wanted to tell you how much I-” Kiseop was interrupted by the high pitched sound of Kevin squealing, “I’m home!”
Kibum’s face immediately lit up, he dove out the bed and as he was about to exit his room, Kevin had entered, causing them to collide and drop on the ground together, accidentally causing their lips to graze against one another’s.
Kiseop could only watch.
Kibum didn’t budge as he was on top of the younger male, he smiled warmly. “Welcome home, Kevin-ah…” He said before leaning down to press his lips down onto Kevin’s cheek. The younger male could only chuckle and slap Kibum playfully, “Hajima~” Kevin giggled.
Kiseop sat there devastated at the scene that was developing before him. He frowned before getting to his feet and moving towards the door. He was about to turn to say something to Kibum when the elder male cut him off saying, “Close the door when you get out.”
Kiseop didn’t argue anymore. He felt weak in the knees and hopeless. A tear settled itself at the corner of his eye. His feet wouldn’t move from his spot as he clenched his fist tight and whispered to himself shakily,
“I still feel like you’ll love me.”
