I posted this on facebook a week ago..
16 THINGS...
Directions:
Once you’ve been tagged, you have to write a note with 16 random things, facts, habits, or goals about you. At the end, choose people to be tagged, listing their names and why you chose them.
1. I am rarely completely happy with anything I do.
2. Ask me about my ducks... Vote for Tanny, She’s Uncanny! lol amazing conventions.. did you know I campaigned for a national officer position within the NJCL organization and spoke in front of 1500+ people? I was the first elected NJCL Technology Coordinator 2004-2005. Look it up.. basically, I was the Queen of geek/nerdom (all 10,000 of them hehe), and it was awesome lol. I have a video and clips I edited and created for the National scrapbook, but it is probably more interesting for people who were there.
3. I have about a 12 inch scar across my stomach due to multiple surgeries.. 6 or 7 I think. I have mixed feelings about it.
4. All the dishes/silverware/pots have a specific place they go in in the dishwater.
5. I feel very stifled most of the time.
6. I used to write a lot of poetry; one was published in this national journal/book thing, but I don’t enjoy being scrutinized so closely.. it makes me nervous. I also get upset over negative criticism as these words are so close to me so I was always worried I would get something like that. I have shared with a few people when asked. Most of them were placed on my old website so that I could stay anonymous. I enjoyed making this site beautiful.
7. I had the worst, most degrading and demeaning experience of my life this year. It better continue to be the worst one too because no one deserves anything like that. I’m glad Sarah was here to help me out. I am still very angry about it, but I usually try not to think about it and enjoy life.
8. I still miss painting and AP Art with Steph (the art teacher, not me).
9. I am proud of my little sister, even though she is annoying at times lol. I am very grateful and sooo proud of my parents too!
10. I have a hard time saying goodbye to people, even if I would do better without them.
11. I was going to go to MIT, and then I freaked out and didn’t think I wanted to do engineering. I told my parents I wanted to major in painting, and then they freaked out. I ended up at Mines. But now here I am! And no, I don't have a scholarship just because I am a minority thank you very much...
12. Everyone thinks I am the most innocent person ever.. (that and the most violent at times lol).
13. I have a TON of nicknames depending on who you ask.. I can’t remember them all anymore.
14. I’m shy/sensitive and have a hard time opening up until I know you for a while. This makes moving hard because I very much crave that interaction. I also love making people happy and taking care of them, so I am uncomfortable sharing if I’m not asked.
15. I still have that stupid tiara from when I was voted homecoming Duchess and had to dance with Gabe.. I was so embarrassed/angry (ALEX). Snyder made me promise to keep it for 10 years when I was about to break it apart lol...
16. I am getting really annoyed at people not letting me pay... this is referring to 5 guys in particular! And they are not on lj so I am going to say their names.. Carl, Jay, Jia, Jerry, and Derek! They pay for me more than my ex did! Since my fb post I have been able to pay for some of our meals/drinks when we go out though so I'm feeling a bit better about it..
