This part again follows the series very closely. They did change the scene with Trowa getting rid of the pursuers however. Instead of riding on a nice motorbike, he goes on foot... and then murmur something about not raising too much of a commotion. This actually makes sense since they are (sort of) undercover. In the series, between a stolen motorbike, dumping said motorbike into the water and causing an accident, they would surely get a lot of attention. Not something they'd wish for...
Anyway, the conclusion of this: I do think the book makes more sense than the series here. :-)
Next chapter: Heero and Trowa head towards the South Pole while Relena finds out that Heero is still alive.
