Sunday morning working

Jun 04, 2006 12:23

In January 2001, Todd Leake and others testified before the House Agriculture Committee on the need for the moratorium, and the mood among the legislators was so overtly favorable that when the beleaguered Monsanto lobbyist rose to testify, the chairman of the committee handed him a bottle of whisky, commenting, "Jim, I think you're going to need this."

Reading about evil corporations and agriculture. Not too bad for a Sunday morning. What an insane 4 day weekend. if only I knew what to do now - I can do reading for sociology, it's week 10, i should be panicking, fuck, i am. But sitting here thinking about the last few days, I can't believe I'm going back to Salem in like  2 1/2 weeks.... we still dont have a house or a storage unit. Fuck effing. ass. fuck. oh well *shrug*

"Seed?
That's literally the future of humanity.

Patents? Corporations?
Those are just inventions on paper."
