ANNIVERSARY EVENT: start point.
What is the anniversary event?
It's an event to celebrate our community's third birthday. No one expected for us to last this long, huh? And since we have a lot of members who were with us from the very beginning, we thought it would be great to come up with something different that might provide our members some entertainment and gain the possibility to get a theme of their choice.
How will the event work?
The event will consist of two games, the first one being posted today and another one in a week. These games will determine how familiar you are with the community and things related to it. Even if you haven't been a member from the beginning, do not fear; we made sure anyone can get the answers right if they only look it up in the right places.
What about benefits?
Surely, it might not be so fun to put time and effort into playing the anniversary games and getting absolutely nothing out of it (aside of possible enjoyment, haha), which is why we thought of a few prizes. If you gain five points in total, you will get the pesmission to apply for a special Anniversary Theme that will be a one time theme, unless we decide to repeat the games next year. However, that's not everything! Since the Anniversary Theme will be a rather special and unique thing, we cannot allow too many restamps, that is why only in case you reach ten points in total you will be allowed to restamp, be it because you disagree or just a different/opposite/one gender restamp. Want to find out more about that special theme? We would love to tell you, but we're afraid this community is ruled by people who like being mean and keeping its members curious :D
... but wait, why would we want to win if anyone who plays gets a special theme? Don't be so hasty, because we have another treat waiting: anyone who scores 100% in both games will be allowed to pick a theme of their choice. Neat right? We sure hope it would serve as a good motivator! However, please keep in mind that your themes of choice might not be posted right away if a lot of people get 100%, so please be patient. The queue will be decided simply by who finishes the second game first. For example, if you got 100% on both games and submitted all correct answers before everyone else, your theme will be posted before everyone else's, and so on and so on.
Some basic rules & info:
1. Do not cheat or ask others for the answers. That would make it quite unfair and if we notice something like this occuring, you might be disqualified if only because we can't afford making everyone pick themes. Only if one individual truly worked and put an effort do they really deserve to win, so keep that in mind.
2. In case you have questions about certain games, each entry will have a thread exclusively for this matter, so please refer to them in case you have something to ask. Like so, if you have general questions, comment on this entry's question thread
Last of all, the anniversary event is going to end on the 24th of June.
